The Netherlands

From January 4th - 18th 2019, I had the amazing opportunity to go on a university exchange with CHE in The Netherlands. I stayed in the town of Ede with a wonderful student named Danielle!

Although, for the first 4 days of our stay, we lodged in Farm House Leeuwendaal which had an amazing dark road lined with trees that I was extremely giddy about haha. So of course I asked my classmates and professor to indulge me and let me do some photos for them before we left!

So, the first day we were there we visited an outdoor museum and I got my first dose of holland culture.

The first day had a lot of different museums! Which was actually really fun and I felt like I learned a lot. I liked this one especially because I was fascinated at how large the ships were and we were actually able to go on and inside them!

We also travelled to the town of Urk (the museum above was actually there as well) and were able to enjoy the sights from their small town!

Of course we also went to Amsterdam on two separate occasions! We were able to go off on our own and explore the city. My little group went to the famous Rijksmuseum amongst other places!

In the evening, we went on the Amsterdam Light Festival!

Another Museum we visited was the Holland Open Air Museum in Arnhem!

We also visited Arnhem Oosterbeek War Cemetery and the Airborne Museum

Stopped to say hi to some local sheep on our way home!

We also spent a day in Brussels, Belgium near the end of our trip!

This was pretty much it for the photos I took, but I had an amazing 2 1/2 weeks here!
I also made a highlight story on my instagram with my favourite iphone photos from the trip.
