In 2018, I had the incredible opportunity to represent Alberta at Skills Canada, a national competition that brings together the best young talent across creative and technical fields. Competing in photography challenged me to level up my craft, think creatively under pressure, and tell powerful visual stories in a timed environment. It was one of the first moments I realized just how much I loved capturing connection and emotion through my lens — and it shaped the way I approach every session and celebration today.
